Jayne MacDougall is Executive Director of Phuket Hotels Association, representing more than 115 hotel members and working to strengthen Phuket’s position as a world-class destination.
With over 20 years of experience with Marriott and Starwood hotel groups in Thailand, Jayne has built extensive expertise in health and safety, risk management and sustainability within the hospitality industry. She subsequently served as Senior Consultant on GIZ’s CAP-SEA initiative, leading the Phuket hotel sector’s efforts to develop practical tools, training and best practices to reduce single-use plastics.
Having chaired the Phuket Hotels Association Environment Committee from 2016 to 2022, Jayne continues to champion collaboration across the hospitality and tourism sectors, supporting a destination where exceptional guest experiences go hand in hand with responsible and sustainable tourism.
